That’s OMG as in “oh my gosh” and not “oh my God”, just in case you were worried about Usher and Will.i.am blaspheming against their creator – conservative Christian corporate America. Jesus wept.
No such considerations of offence against taste or intelligence, of course. ‘OMG’ tends more towards Will.i.am’s dumbed-down EDM inanity than Usher’s back catalogue of crunk&B and slow jams. All you need to know is that it features a looped sample of a crowd chanting the already-familiar “oh-woh-oh-oh” and includes the couplet “Honey got a booty like pow, pow, pow / Honey got some boobies like wow, oh wow”. Was this track written with an upside-down calculator? Anyway, I’m amazed they were even able to spell OMG correctly.
